How is it like to be a fourth year student at university?
Being a fourth year student must be an upsetting situation for most of the university students. Because they spend great time while studying at university, most of them do not want graduate; some even want to study at another department or university just for this reason. However, the idea is not suitable for me since I want to graduate as soon as possible. I have been studying for more than four years at Mersin University which means I could have graduated if I had chosen a university where I do not have to study at a prep class. This may just be a simple reason, but there are more significant ones making me think in this way. Studying at a university for five years (of course if I can graduate in time) is really difficult continue it economically especially in this tech age. Then, living in dormitories or dealing with lots of stuff in an apartment is quite boring and unbearable. In my opinion, the most important one is having no spare time and the stress caused by it. It is arguable that if everything we do is beneficial and useful for us, but in our country most of them are drudgery and just take our time. If we cannot pass the KPSS our education becomes nothing, and it seems really hard to pass it in this busy year. Moreover, hearing from most of my friends studying at the same department but different universities makes the life complicated and makes me ask a lot of questions. Of course there are some good things missed and memories, too; but I strongly want to graduate and begin to an independent life because I really got tired of being a student anyway.
